You think Gas Price is already high- Look at our future

On our way back to Eugene, Oregon from Grand Canyon, we stopped at Death Valley in

Gas Price - Too high?

California. It is the largest National Park in U.S. outside Alaska. Dry barren land for miles and miles. It took us around 2 hours to drive past the Death Valley. There are hardly any services on the road not to mention Gas stations. We just found one Gas Station close to one of the entrances of the park and you can see the what we saw.

I was compelled to take a picture of it. Whenever I look at that picture I think that this is our near future. With Gas prices expected to go up to to $4 per gallon I see this picture coming true wherever we are living.

This is not the end. When I saw that sign from a distance, I thought who can afford such an expensive gas and I thought when we pass across this gas station there wouldn’t be any customer. But guess what? There are 4-5 cars who were filling fuel from this gas station.

On the other hand, it was like an oasis for an empty car tank in this desert!
